The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Following difficulties in its application the Raceday Stewards gave permission for Solar Generation, trained by Martin Brassil, to run without his declared tongue strap as provided for under Rule 194(ii)(e).

Conor Clarke, rider of Eagle Doll, trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped and he pulled up.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Niall Moore, rider of Kome Dans Un Reve (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied the rider was in breach of R10.3(h)(arm above shoulder), and having considered his clean record, they suspended him for two racedays.

L.A. McKenna, rider of My Gaffer, trained by John Patrick Ryan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Katzoff, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who explained the horse on his inside was very close to him and he was conscious of this when using his whip. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards accepted the riders explanation and took no further action.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, Michael Kenneally, rider of Finnicky Filly, trained by John Patrick Ryan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that he dropped in to try and help his mount to get the trip and she stayed on past tiring horses after a patient ride. .

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Son Of Anarchy, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident turning into the straight involving Coral River, ridden by D. Meyler, and Kamikaz Du Plessis (FR), ridden by J.W. Kennedy, where it appeared Kamikaz Du Plessis tried for a gap which closed before he could get into it. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Kamikaz Du Plessis (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.

Miss J. Townend, rider of Luciole Des Bordes (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount never settled.

Mr J.W. Hendrick, rider of Myluckymaker, trained by Adrian Murray, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left throughout.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Luciole Des Bordes (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The following Raceday Stewards acted on behalf of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board at this race meeting: Mr. Nicholas P. Lambert (Chairman), Mr. John McEnery, Mr. Richard E. Rohan, Mr. Bernard Smullen, Mr. L. Walsh.

For this race meeting, the Raceday Stewards suspended the ‘Starting Procedures for Tape Starts’, and the IHRB suspended Rule 208 (i) and Rule 209 (i).
